Suitable for: impure skin, oily skin, combination skin, skin prone to redness. Salicylic acid is the active ingredient of choice for skin prone to impurities.

Due to its fat-solubility, it is able to penetrate clogged pores and to release accumulated sebum. In addition, salicylic acid has an anti-inflammatory, an antimicrobial and an anti-comedogenic effect.

In the EU, the use concentration is legally limited. A maximum of 2.0% may be used in facial care products
